She’s launched a podcast, everyone.
After years of fannying around with my notes app trying to write a book and being too scared to, I’ve finally pressed ‘go’ on a brand new project.
The podcast is about motherhood, postpartum and bridging the gap between who we were before we had children, and who we are today.
I’m aiming to “keep it real” (sorry, vom cliché), and importantly keep it casual - I want mums to listen to an episode when they’re folding laundry, walking in the park or even having a glass of wine, feeling totally at ease with my guests and I.
I want them to think: “Okay, someone else gets it”.
A sneak peek of what you can expect from season one:
An all-important sleep chat with Fox and the Moon
What happens after a start in NICU with The NICU Mummy
Shifting that gut-wrenching mum guilt, with Dr Sophie Brock
…plus a couple of extra special guests!
Seasons two and three are waiting in the wings - I’m just rounding up a few more experts and those with stories to tell (anyone you think would be great, let me know).
I hope you find it useful, reassuring AND entertaining.
You can listen to the podcast in a few ways:
This newsletter isn’t going away, either. I’m so grateful for this little space to write and I love the feedback I get and the conversations we create.
As always, thanks for reading, listening, DMing, liking - all that fun stuff which helps me to know that I’m not shouting into the void.
Appreciate you!
Still writing for IndyBest and enjoying ourselves…what are we going to review next?
Wrote a piece for The Motherhood Edit about Revenge Bedtime Procrastination. Basically, around staying up way longer than you intend to at night once your baby’s gone to bed, so you can claw back some ‘you time’. It was fun! More to come, too.
If you like reading my content here or elsewhere across the internet, please consider buying me a virtual coffee. If you’d rather not, that’s okay. I appreciate you being here either way.
